Base Salary
$136k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform threat modeling and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend prioritized remediation strategies.
- Conduct security code reviews covering source-code weaknesses, input handling, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding practices.
- Develop and maintain security runbooks, tools, and automation scripts.
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to integrate security into design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Investigate security issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions.
Requirements
- At least two years of non-internship experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent experience.
- Experience solving basic problems by writing code or scripts with some assistance.
- Preferred: experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
