Responsibilities
- Apply software engineering knowledge to projects with significant impact.
- Work closely with a mentor and other employees to develop skills and contribute to projects.
- Develop and deploy software for real-world applications and projects.
- Create software documentation, system diagrams, and software requirements.
- Debug software, optimize performance, and conduct unit testing.
- Work full time onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June 2027.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or graduate program.
- At least 3 months of software programming or development experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Preferred GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Preferred 6+ months of experience developing and deploying software used in real-world applications and projects.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of computer architecture and networks is preferred.
- Experience with software documentation, system diagrams, and enumerating software requirements is preferred.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing skills are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, initiative, and independent-working skills are preferred.

- Hourly pay ranges from $30 to $40 depending on academic level.
