Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients and help teams successfully deliver software solutions.
- Lead and coach software development teams while remaining hands-on in coding and implementation.
- Oversee the full software consulting and delivery lifecycle from ideation through production evolution.
- Design solutions, select technologies, and make pragmatic tradeoffs within client constraints.
- Champion clean, reusable code, TDD, pair programming, design patterns, continuous delivery, and DevSecOps practices.
- Collaborate with clients and teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes aligned with UX specifications.
- Translate business needs into software requirements and develop technical visions focused on business value.
- Mentor less experienced peers and foster an inclusive, supportive team culture.
- Evaluate and thoughtfully apply emerging AI technologies and AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- Experience as a Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Java.
- Working knowledge or practical exposure to Kotlin.
- Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous approaches.
- Experience with or knowledge of TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
- Ability to influence others, advocate for technical excellence, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to bridge product and technology, translate business needs into software requirements, and execute a technical vision.
- Strong mentoring, collaboration, learning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and agents; hands-on AI harness tuning is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes is a bonus.
- Interest in functional programming, event-driven architecture, platform engineering, or other emerging practices is valued.
