Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP applications and technical solutions across SAP BTP, S/4HANA, R/3, and Fiori.
- Translate business requirements and process needs into scalable, maintainable technical designs.
- Provide technical leadership through solution guidance, code reviews, mentoring, and development standards.
- Design and implement integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using OData, REST services, event-driven architecture, and integration platforms.
- Modernize and optimize existing SAP applications, including legacy solutions where applicable.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and technical teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Contribute to SAP architecture, technology roadmaps, engineering standards, and development best practices.
- Explore and implement AI-enabled capabilities to improve business processes, user experience, or operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 5–10 years of relevant experience in SAP software development, solution design, or enterprise application development.
- Strong SAP software development and solution architecture experience, ideally across SAP BTP, S/4HANA, SAP R/3, and SAP Fiori.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, process mapping, and optimization.
- Advanced programming skills in one or more of ABAP, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SAPUI5, and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services, S/4HANA technologies, Fiori/SAPUI5 applications, and SAP integration technologies.
- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, OData, REST, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
- AI/ML integration or AI-enabled enterprise application experience is highly desirable.
- Proven technical leadership experience, including solution design, architecture guidance, code reviews, technical standards, and developer mentoring.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Git/version control, automated deployment, testing, and secure coding practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant SAP certifications, particularly in SAP BTP and/or S/4HANA, are advantageous.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise, global, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
