Responsibilities
- Own and grow the backend registry, API, and database used to distribute MCP servers, plugins, and skills.
- Design schemas for plugin, server, and endorsement catalogs.
- Build content-hosting and ingestion pipelines for plugin source.
- Implement authentication and supply-chain checks for marketplace security.
- Harden the service for production availability, safe deployments, and increased catalog and installation scale.
- Collaborate with engineers building client-side agent harnesses and security-focused reviewers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience as a software engineer deploying large-scale systems.
- Strong understanding of data-centric systems, distributed systems, reliability, and cloud services.
- Hands-on experience designing and coding large-scale systems.
- Proven experience with applied machine learning, data engineering, or a similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience.
- Preferred: experience with developer tools or developer productivity systems.
- Preferred: experience with open source or inner source.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science or related experience.
