Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain interactive full-stack web applications for data exploration, analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integrations for data access and processing.
- Integrate data sources, analytical models, data processing services, and APIs into user-facing applications.
- Build interactive dashboards, visualizations, search interfaces, and analytical tools for exploring large datasets.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, analysts, engineering teams, and government stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable software.
- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support testing, software deployment, and CI/CD activities.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required, with willingness to obtain a CI poly.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of total professional experience in a technical support role.
- Demonstrated experience in full-stack software development, web application engineering, or a related software engineering discipline.
- Proficiency with modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js and experience building responsive interactive web applications.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Java, Go, or C#, including RESTful API, database integration, and server-side application development.
- Experience developing data-driven applications and integrating structured data, analytical services, and visualization capabilities.
- Preferred experience with D3.js, Plotly, Highcharts, Chart.js, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Elasticsearch, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, machine learning or statistical analysis integration, automated testing, Git-based version control, DevSecOps, application security, and regulated or government environments.
