Responsibilities
- Support development and enhancement of backend services using Java and Spring Boot under guidance from the engineering team.
- Help test, troubleshoot, and improve APIs and microservices to maintain stable, secure, and usable systems.
- Assist with basic AWS deployment or support activities where appropriate.
- Support simple database queries, data checks, and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to understand user needs, share progress, and contribute ideas for improved digital experiences.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a polytechnic diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of Java, databases, and software development concepts.
- Exposure to Spring Boot, APIs, cloud platforms, or Git is helpful.
- Interest in how technology supports financial services and backend systems improve customer experiences.
- Curiosity, willingness to ask questions, openness to feedback, and comfort learning by doing.
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and contribute positively to a team.
