Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design prototypes and tools supporting Disney Entertainment and ESPN Technology.
- Research approaches and architectures for complex and unique business problems.
- Identify elegant solutions to distinctive technical challenges.
- Build and maintain production-grade software.
- Own development, implementation, and release across the software lifecycle.
- Investigate technologies affecting Disney’s industries.
- Integrate and design APIs and contribute to native application and user experience work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical fields.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning methods and techniques.
- Experience building and maintaining production-grade software.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools safely, responsibly, and effectively.
- Experience with API integration and design.
- Demonstrated ownership of software development, implementation, and release.
- Experience with defensive application design and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent technical communication skills, attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Preferred: audio/video processing and analysis experience.
- Preferred: real-time updates and event-driven architectures experience.
- Preferred: AWS, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, native iOS or Android development, Terraform or CloudFormation, and CloudWatch or Datadog experience.
