Responsibilities
- Execute phased modernization strategies for legacy COBOL, Oracle, and PHP platforms with zero downtime.
- Architect and deploy Java Spring Boot and TypeScript/Node.js microservices on AWS EKS with Istio.
- Develop React-based frontends and maintain shared component libraries using Vite, Tailwind CSS, BaseUI, and Storybook.
- Implement automated testing with Playwright and Vitest.
- Manage cloud-native infrastructure, databases, and messaging migrations from SNS/SQS to Apache Kafka.
- Reverse-engineer legacy code to identify business rules and validate functional equivalence.
- Design secure hybrid AWS and on-premise architectures using mTLS links.
- Conduct end-to-end load testing and improve system resilience.
- Establish quality standards, test frameworks, and architectural documentation across teams.
Requirements
- Proven expertise executing phased legacy-platform modernization strategies.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript/Node.js, React, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Helm, Terraform, Harness.IO, databases, messaging systems, and automated testing.
- Ability to analyze and reverse-engineer legacy codebases and validate functional equivalence.
- Experience designing secure, high-performing hybrid architectures and conducting load testing.
- Ability to establish quality standards, test frameworks, and architectural governance.
- Strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
