Responsibilities
- Build and design features that extend the Auth0 platform.
- Harden, scale, and integrate complex Core Identity capabilities into the Auth0 ecosystem.
- Design, build, and operate secure distributed systems and APIs in cloud environments.
- Contribute to the technical quality, security, reliability, and scalability of systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Security, Design, Architecture, QA, and global engineering teams.
- Participate in mentoring, technical culture development, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for critical services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent.
- Proficiency designing and building services with Node.js using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience creating and maintaining public and secure APIs and front ends.
- Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with unit, integration, end-to-end, or other testing strategies.
- Product-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate on customer-focused solutions.
- Preferred: Identity and Access Management experience.
- Preferred: Knowledge of security engineering principles and application security best practices.
