Base Salary
$159k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Recognize and safely use attacker tools, tactics, and procedures.
- Develop scripts, tools, and methodologies to enhance red-team capabilities.
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop and test detections for complex exploitation patterns.
- Build attack simulations to validate tools and techniques.
- Advise broader teams on current threats, tools, and techniques.
- Detonate and analyze malware behavioral patterns.
- Mentor data scientists and software engineers and contribute creative intellectual property.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or a bachelor's degree in a STEM field or two-plus years of IT security experience.
- Knowledge of networking protocols including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of industry security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
- Preferred: two-plus years of scripting, programming, or security code review experience in Python, Java, C++, or another common language.
- Preferred: familiarity with command-line tools for troubleshooting protocols, analyzing logs, and automating basic tasks.
- Preferred: experience with AWS products and services.
