Base Salary
$180k - $440k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own backend engineering for scalable, low-latency voice infrastructure and model integrations.
- Collaborate with Grok Voice model, media, and product teams to deliver end-to-end experiences.
- Drive performance, reliability, and quality of voice interactions at global scale.
- Design, build, and ship voice features across iOS, Android, and other product surfaces.
- Work across product groups as a generalist to deliver the best user experience.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python or Rust and a track record of writing clean, efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Strong backend-focused generalist engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience shipping features on iOS and/or Android.
- Deep interest in voice and audio AI.
- Preferred experience with AI-driven consumer products or media generation technologies.
- Preferred track record of collaborating across engineering, research, and product teams to ship features quickly.
