Responsibilities
- Translate ambiguous product ideas into scoped technical plans and working software.
- Build full stack product features across React, Go, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Create interfaces that make complex engineering data understandable, trustworthy, and actionable.
- Design APIs, data models, and user experiences for engineering intelligence workflows.
- Write maintainable, tested code and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and production-readiness activities.
- Communicate technical tradeoffs through pull requests, technical notes, and team discussions.
- Help shape a new product area in response to active customer demand.
Requirements
- Experience building production software across frontend and backend systems.
- Backend engineering experience, ideally with Go or the ability to ramp quickly in Go.
- Experience designing APIs with clear contracts, validation, error handling, and thoughtful edge-case behavior.
- Strong React and TypeScript skills.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, migrations, and PostgreSQL fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex in day-to-day development.
- Comfort working with Git, GitHub, pull requests, code review workflows, and CI/CD.
- Strong product judgment, including the ability to reason about users, scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs.
- Clear written communication and the ability to make technical reasoning visible.
- Experience turning ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans and shipped products is preferred.
- Full stack engineering experience across frontend, backend, and data is preferred.
