Responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, and system-level tests on physical smart-camera hardware and embedded Linux platforms.
- Write and maintain Python and Bash scripts to automate test execution and parse system logs.
- Analyze system logs and hardware outputs to isolate issues and document clear, reproducible bug reports.
- Use agentic AI tools to generate test scenarios, write automated test code, and accelerate log analysis.
- Collaborate with firmware and software developers to reproduce bugs, verify fixes, and investigate platform bring-up issues.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a strong analytical mindset, curiosity, logical reasoning, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Navigate embedded Linux systems through the command line and possess basic familiarity with systemd.
- Have a basic programming foundation in Python and Bash for simple automation and file parsing.
- Preferred qualifications include camera-testing, image or video-streaming, NPU-based or machine-learning testing experience; hardware-interface, schematic-reading, or debugging-tool familiarity; and exposure to the Yocto Project.
