Base Salary
$87k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop complex, multi-page Palantir Workshop applications with variables, events, object views, and wired Actions.
- Design and extend Foundry ontologies using object types, link types, Action types, and permissioning.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Code Repositories or Pipeline Builder, incremental transforms, and scheduling.
- Implement data expectations, checks, lineage visibility, and other measures of pipeline trustworthiness.
- Apply data markings, restricted views, mandatory controls, and other security and governance requirements.
- Read, debug, and write Python and PySpark for data engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and an Agile Scrum/Scrumban team to refine requirements, track work, and report progress.
- Integrate solutions with other Department of War network capabilities, including ADVANA, to support interoperability.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret DoD security clearance are required; the ability to attain an interim clearance will be considered.
- A B.S. or M.S. in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline is required, with relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
- At least 4 years of related technical experience is required.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, including shipping a production Workshop application and modeling or extending an Ontology, is expected.
- Proficiency with Workshop application development, ontology fundamentals, pipeline development, data health and lineage, and security and governance controls is required.
- Proficiency with Python and modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow is required.
- Experience with Palantir Vantage, ADVANA, or similar data analytics platforms is highly desirable.
- Desired qualifications include TypeScript Functions, custom React widgets, OSDK application development, Palantir MCP, Ontology MCP, Palantir certifications, DoW ADVANA, MAVEN, Army 365, Azure data and AI services, Microsoft Power Platform, Databricks, and Microsoft 365 data modeling.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, self-direction, and ability to work with limited oversight are required.
