Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications using SAP Fiori elements and freestyle SAPUI5.
- Build SAP BTP applications and side-by-side extensions using SAP CAP with Node.js or Java in Cloud Foundry.
- Integrate applications with OData V2/V4 services, REST APIs, and released S/4HANA APIs, including ABAP CDS and RAP-based services.
- Configure and deploy applications for access through SAP Fiori Launchpad.
- Apply Clean Core principles and use released APIs and side-by-side extensions where appropriate.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with business stakeholders, architects, and developers.
- Test, troubleshoot, and optimize application functionality and performance.
- Use Git, contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications with SAP Fiori elements and/or freestyle SAPUI5.
- Hands-on SAP BTP application development experience using SAP CAP with Node.js or Java.
- Strong JavaScript skills and working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, XML, and JSON.
- Solid understanding of OData and REST APIs and how SAP Fiori applications consume S/4HANA backend services.
- Working knowledge of S/4HANA, ABAP CDS, RAP-based services, and released SAP APIs.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad and Git.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, and developers.
- Experience with TypeScript, SAP Build Work Zone, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP and non-SAP integrations, SAP BTP security and authorization concepts, Clean Core principles, and side-by-side extensions is preferred.
