Base Salary
$140k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based microservices using AWS and TypeScript.
- Design services that communicate through well-defined APIs and support modularity and scalability.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and work toward high test coverage.
- Use AI developer tools for context gathering, boilerplate generation, test generation, and refactoring while validating outputs.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture and design sessions, Agile ceremonies, and collaboration with stakeholders and product owners.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing service-oriented applications using Java, Python, C#, TypeScript, or another modern language.
- Experience designing and building microservice-based systems with high cohesion and loose coupling.
- Experience with comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL data stores and industry-standard design and architectural patterns.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban.
- Understanding of software security practices, including OAuth, JWT, and encryption.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- AWS serverless experience and familiarity with DynamoDB and SQS are preferred.
- Effective English communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work with ambiguity and changing requirements.
Benefits
- Salary of $130,000-$155,000 DOE.
