Base Salary

$186k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate authentication and authorization systems at scale.
Strengthen core services and data protections, including access control and APIs.
Detect and mitigate account takeover and other security threats.
Build security platforms and tooling for product and AI teams.
Own and improve high-availability security and identity services.
Tackle ambiguous AI/LLM security problems from threat modeling to mitigation.
Provide leadership in promoting security and software engineering excellence.

7+ years of experience as a backend engineer with large-scale server-side services.
Deep experience with authentication and authorization methods like SAML/SSO.
Proven track record in building secure, highly available distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with modern security tooling and practices.
Proficiency in Ruby, Python, Kotlin, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with AI tools for coding, such as Cloud Code or Github Copilot.
Bonus: experience with authorization platforms and technologies like GraphQL or Kubernetes.
Strong collaboration skills to address complex security and AI challenges.
