Base Salary

$108k - $205k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to DSP teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with DSP Product Owners and the DSP Software Architect to manage and prioritize the DSP backlog.
  • Support scope estimation during backlog planning and align execution with business objectives.
  • Coach team members, improve coordination, remove roadblocks, and foster a high-performing team culture.
  • Address complex technical and operational challenges collaboratively.
  • Use data and feedback to drive process improvements and product innovation.
  • Mentor and inspire DSP software engineers.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws or regulations.
  • Experience with agile principles, frameworks, and tools and adapting them to optimize team performance.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and/or Java.
  • Experience addressing complex challenges in a collaborative team environment.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required before start date.
  • U.S. citizenship required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
  • Preferred experience with data structures, algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, software architectures, software development lifecycles, Windows, Linux, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Perl, Bash, and KornShell.
  • Preferred experience with team-based software development, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and test automation.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, technical documentation, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills are preferred.
