Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding of new customers into SIEM platforms.
- Understand customer security monitoring needs and tailor SIEM configurations accordingly.
- Configure log sources, event collectors, and parsing rules.
- Troubleshoot log ingestion, parsing, integration, and SIEM performance issues.
- Document onboarding procedures and best practices.
- Develop tools for log collection and log processing.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with IBM QRadar or Sentinel.
- Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
- Knowledge of Syslog, JSON, CEF, and other log formats and collection mechanisms.
- Experience with cloud security monitoring and integration across Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, and on-premises environments.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Security certifications such as IBM QRadar Certified Specialist or Microsoft SC-200 are preferred.
