Base Salary
$150k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather and classify customer and business requirements, identify solution risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Contribute to user stories, solution designs, detailed module designs, and technology selections.
- Develop and configure application components using appropriate languages, standards, and tools.
- Build scalable and maintainable Java and Spring Boot web services and RESTful APIs.
- Create automation scripts and implement telemetry, security requirements, testing, defect tracking, and regression testing.
- Troubleshoot application performance and availability bottlenecks and perform maintenance and re-engineering activities.
- Monitor application metrics, logs, maintenance data, and performance data.
- Evaluate change requests and ensure project work follows approved milestones and timelines.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in a listed computing or engineering field and 1 year of software engineering experience, or bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing scalable web services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing RESTful web services and creating unit tests with JUnit.
- Experience using Jira, Git, SQL, GCP, Azure, Python testing libraries, Maven, Jenkins, Kibana, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience designing and managing distributed NoSQL databases with high availability and fault tolerance.
