Responsibilities
- Provide technical sales support to sales teams and partners throughout customer engagements.
- Identify, document, and articulate customer business and technical requirements across qualification, proposal, and post-sale transition stages.
- Prepare and support RFI/RFP responses, opportunity and account planning, solution proposals, and quantified-benefit presentations.
- Lead initial solution demonstrations and consultative workshops for customers and partners.
- Serve as a technical liaison with professional services, systems integrators, ISVs, APAC technical teams, and product management.
- Develop joint partner solutions and support joint bidding activities.
- Map product capabilities to customer needs and establish expectations for successful post-sale implementation.
- Support the transition from presales to post-sale delivery to maximize implementation success and customer satisfaction.
- Travel as needed for customer and partner engagements.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a presales role.
- Strong technical experience with data-center infrastructure, particularly storage.
- Good understanding of object storage technologies.
- Strong customer-facing, presentation, communication, writing, quantitative, and collaboration skills.
- Experience conducting product demonstrations and leading consultative workshops focused on business value.
- Ability to support technical requirements analysis, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and product presentations.
- Experience with databases and application integration is desirable.
- Ability to communicate technical and business value to customers, partners, and CXO-level audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
