Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical vision for intelligent networking, distributed systems, real-time data processing, agentic AI, and machine learning capabilities.
- Lead architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production operations across the software development lifecycle.
- Build scalable data pipelines, distributed microservices, agentic solutions, and integrations with networking systems.
- Design high-performance systems that process high-volume, high-velocity real-time data with stringent scalability, availability, latency, and reliability requirements.
- Mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, establish technical direction, and foster engineering excellence.
- Improve architecture, system performance, security, observability, resilience, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of software development lifecycle experience covering architecture, design, coding, reviews, testing, builds, deployment, and production operations.
- At least 7 years of programming experience in a general-purpose language, preferably Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- At least 3 years of experience leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems and turn them into pragmatic production-ready solutions.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience with scalable event-driven microservices, real-time operational or network data, generative AI and agentic systems, networking and observability platforms, and distributed data technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Flink, PySpark, or MapReduce.
