Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cross-functional solutions that continuously improve and automate security capabilities.
- Use data, trends, and metrics to identify security-posture improvements and execute initiatives with stakeholders.
- Lead incident response analysis, containment, mitigation, resolution, and remediation efforts.
- Craft and refine security-program documentation, including policies, standards, baselines, and standard operating procedures.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and analysts.
- Implement and manage IAM solutions, federated identity, identity governance, cloud IAM, least-privilege access, and automated identity pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or eight years of security-domain experience without a degree.
- At least four years of experience acting as a trusted advisor in a team setting and solving for short- and long-term business value.
- At least four years of experience coaching engineers or analysts.
- Experience with federated identity tools such as Okta, Entra ID, and Ping Identity.
- Experience with IGA tools such as Omada, Lumos, SailPoint, and Saviynt.
- Deep knowledge of cloud IAM architectures, including AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID, GCP IAM, least-privilege roles, RBAC, ABAC, and permission policies.
- Experience with Python, Terraform, and PowerShell automation.
- Preferred experience in healthcare or health-tech systems, tooling, automation, distributed systems development, and automated security metrics.
- Practical experience managing non-human identities, service accounts, API keys, bots, and automated workload identities.
- Proficiency with SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP/Directory Services, user lifecycle automation, SSO, MFA, and JIT access.
- Strong knowledge of authentication protocols, authorization mechanisms, directory services, IAM practices, regulatory compliance, and security standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical and security issues to diverse audiences.
