Responsibilities
- Drive architecture and hands-on delivery of scalable agentic AI platforms for security workflows.
- Design and build production-grade AI agents, skills, memory patterns, guardrails, and tool-use orchestration.
- Develop retrieval and context-engineering capabilities using embeddings, semantic search, grounding, summarization, and prompt management.
- Build cloud-native AI services across AWS, Azure, and GCP using container, serverless, event-driven, and distributed-data patterns.
- Optimize platform latency, throughput, scalability, caching, context efficiency, and cost.
- Develop governed APIs and integrations connecting AI capabilities with security platforms, tools, and business processes.
- Establish AI evaluation, regression testing, monitoring, observability, and agent-behavior improvement frameworks.
- Define reliability, security, governance, and safe-AI engineering standards across the platform lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and influence architecture through code reviews, architecture forums, and technical leadership.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
- Support occasional Level 2–3 operational incident escalation resolution.
Requirements
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience developing AI, machine learning, or generative AI solutions.
- Experience architecting, developing, and deploying production-grade generative AI and large language model solutions, including agentic workflows and enterprise tool integrations.
- Strong cloud-native software engineering, distributed systems, asynchronous processing, event-driven architecture, durable messaging, and high-performance data access experience.
- Hands-on experience with RAG, embeddings, semantic search, knowledge grounding, context engineering, prompt optimization, and prompt lifecycle management.
- Experience implementing AI evaluation, testing, monitoring, observability, MLOps, LLMOps, and evaluation frameworks.
- Strong API design and integration experience for secure, reusable, scalable enterprise platform services.
- Technical leadership experience including mentoring engineers, driving architecture, influencing strategy, and leading geographically distributed teams.
- Experience with responsible AI, data privacy, security, governance, resiliency, and model risk management.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity telemetry and operations, including threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, security analytics, security automation, and SIEM platforms.
- Production experience designing and implementing reliable CI/CD pipelines using CI/CD tools.
- Strong development and automation skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, Go, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Experience developing cybersecurity, analytics, or operational intelligence solutions and leading complex initiatives while remaining hands-on.
- Experience with LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, Delta Lake, Iceberg, Airflow, vector databases, semantic search, and enterprise RAG platforms.
- Demonstrated success designing and deploying enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
