Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable and reliable solutions for authentication interfaces and distributed systems.
- Own features end to end from initial design through deployment, monitoring, and the full development lifecycle.
- Implement robust observability in authentication flows to maintain system health and shopper experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX, design, and engineering teams across the Uplift and Payments domains.
- Review code, communicate across teams and time zones, and contribute to rapid product iteration.
- Make small contributions to backend Java APIs while growing full-stack expertise.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in web development, including web applications, web SDKs, API integrations, and observability tools.
- Expertise in frontend architecture, web performance, CI/CD workflows, and unit, component, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Strong experience with Preact, TypeScript, Vite, GitHub, GitLab, and state management.
- Proven experience building and maintaining highly scalable and reliable systems.
- Fluent English communication skills in technical and non-technical contexts.
- Familiarity with Sentry, Vitest, Emotion/CSS, and Playwright is preferred.
- Experience with payment flows or passkey and SPC technologies such as WebAuthn, device binding, and device fingerprinting is a bonus.
