Base Salary
$156k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and optimize Next-Generation Firewall functionality and performance, including device identity solutions.
- Own critical components of the Next-Generation Firewall system and deliver high-quality, high-performance features.
- Design and architect innovative security solutions as a networking and security expert in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Work with product management on user requirements and collaborate with quality assurance and field support throughout the software development cycle.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C programming in a Linux development environment.
- Experience with multithreaded programming and large-scale, distributed, or high-performance software design and architecture.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in the security or networking industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a similar technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with TCP/IP networking software development.
- Ability to leverage AI to improve productivity and operational efficiency and to learn new technologies and platforms.
- Preferred experience with Go and Python.
- Preferred experience with Redis or NoSQL databases.
- Preferred experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes.
- A graduate degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent military experience, is preferred.

- The role is primarily office-based, with flexibility when needed.
- Annual base salary range of $156,400.00 to $253,000.00 per year, with potential additional restricted stock units and bonus.
