Base Salary
$184k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build the cryptographic asset registry, including key and certificate inventory, lifecycle tracking, and usable interfaces.
- Instrument and govern the platform with telemetry, audit evidence, and policy-based authorization for sensitive material.
- Own signing flows end to end, including job type design, API and CLI surfaces, and customer experiences.
- Support post-quantum production signing using ML-DSA dual signing on HSM-backed keys, LMS software keys, and hybrid flows.
- Build agent-assisted self-service paths while defining where human involvement remains necessary.
- Measure deflection rate, time to first signature, and onboarding time.
- Grow technical leadership across technology, process, and people.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years building and operating production software, including ownership of a service with real availability expectations.
- Strong hands-on engineering experience in Python, Java, Go, or similar languages across the full stack of a cloud service.
- Working knowledge of applied cryptography, including PKI, key management, digital signatures, and HSM-backed systems.
- Practical experience applying AI and agentic workflows to real engineering problems.
- Clear written communication and proactive customer communication habits.
- Preferred experience with code signing, HSM-backed key management, or software supply chain security.
- Preferred experience replacing ticket-driven processes with genuine self-service and measuring the resulting impact.
