Base Salary
$136k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of technical solutions for business, regulatory, automation, tooling, and data quality requirements.
- Write correct, stable, modular, and adaptable code with limited oversight and independently deliver projects.
- Contribute to code reviews and design reviews across the team.
- Design, scope, build, and document complex, scalable, and repeatable processes and capabilities.
- Represent the team in cross-functional projects and technical discussions.
- Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues, errors, escalations, and production incidents.
- Partner with Business, Engineering, and Data organizations to operationalize health insurance operations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and drive resolution of production issues across team boundaries.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- A technical bachelor’s degree or four or more years of commensurate experience.
- At least four years of experience in a technical role, such as QA lead, data lead, systems lead, engineer, or QA engineer.
- At least three years of experience with SQL.
- At least three years of experience with Python.
- Preferred experience in coding, analytics, mathematics, finance, statistics, or data science.
- Preferred experience in dynamic or startup environments and across technical project phases from design through production operations.
- Experience in coaching, mentorship, or project management is a bonus.
Benefits
- Hybrid New York City schedule requiring three days in the office each week, including Thursdays; the other two office days are flexible.
- Annual base pay of $135,792–$178,227, plus annual performance bonuses.
