Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and services for Precision Medicine platforms.
- Build Python-based APIs and microservices using FastAPI.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, performant, and maintainable software solutions using cloud-native, serverless, or container-based approaches.
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, UX designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement unit, integration, and automated testing strategies and resolve defects, performance issues, and system bottlenecks.
- Support deployment, monitoring, availability, performance, resiliency, and operational readiness.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, technical documentation, and reusable frameworks.
- Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies and collaborate with global cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 4–8 years of experience in Product Owner, Platform Owner, or Service Owner work, or a master’s degree with 3–5 years of such experience.
- Strong Python development skills, including API development with FastAPI.
- Hands-on frontend development experience with React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of cloud computing and AWS ecosystem principles, including well-architected design trade-offs.
- Strong data modeling, SQL querying, data engineering, ETL, and data architecture skills.
- Experience designing microservices, RESTful APIs, and serverless or container-based solutions.
- Working knowledge of Databricks and data-intensive platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, automated testing, and Git.
- Ability to own complex software components from design through deployment and support.
- Preferred experience with AI-assisted development tools, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or healthcare domains, and monitoring or logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Preferred AWS, Databricks, or SAFe Agile certifications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, ownership, collaboration, prioritization, and learning skills.
