Base Salary

$72k - $115k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, maintain, and support secure, reliable, scalable software applications and services with guidance from experienced engineers.
  • Translate functional and non-functional requirements into maintainable software components, APIs, microservices, distributed applications, and event-driven solutions.
  • Write unit, functional, and integration tests and participate in code reviews to improve software quality.
  • Support cloud-based applications through monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, automation, observability, reliability, operational readiness, and secure coding initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, Architecture, Security, DevOps, and Operations teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, software design principles, and common architecture patterns.
  • Working experience in Java, Golang, Kotlin, or similar programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate, React, Angular, REST APIs, microservices, relational databases, SQL, and software testing practices.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and Agile software development methodologies.
  • Exposure to AWS, PCF, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, NATS.io, Splunk, or Dynatrace is a plus.
  • Understanding of application performance, scalability, monitoring, observability, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, secure coding, OWASP guidelines, and application security best practices.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and continuous learning skills.
