Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement end-to-end features across React, Angular, Vue, or comparable frontend technologies and Python, Java, or Node.js backend services.
- Build and integrate FastAPI, RESTful, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs.
- Develop containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support AWS or Azure deployments using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Contribute to automated testing, code quality enforcement, CI/CD pipelines, and security scanning.
- Integrate data, machine-learning-enabled, and analytic pipeline components into mission workflows.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, peer reviews, user-focused design discussions, troubleshooting, and engineering improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Experience with a modern object-oriented programming language and frontend frameworks or HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience developing and consuming FastAPI, REST, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure, and GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins automation.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or SQLite.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
- Preferred: experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, Kafka, SNS/SQS, synthetic data, analytic models, ML pipelines, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, distributed search, user-centered design, reusable component libraries, or AI-augmented development tools.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
