Senior Lead Software Engineer
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools and establish standards for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Identify patterns and hidden problems in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Promote secure coding, peer review, automated testing, reuse of effective patterns, and participation in software engineering communities of practice.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, Java, Spring, Kafka, PostgreSQL, relational data modeling, and cloud or container-based development.
- Practical experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with identity and access management and AWS S3, EC2, EKS, IAM, Lambda, and Gaia.
