Base Salary

$169k - $338k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native AI-powered software systems and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Write production-quality code, build automated tests, and own implementations through production deployment.
  • Translate domain strategies into reliable system-level implementations while maintaining architectural integrity.
  • Drive operational excellence through technical guidance, code reviews, architectural decisions, and incident-management practices.
  • Champion DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and resilient service practices.
  • Identify architectural bottlenecks, automate manual processes, and improve developer experience.
  • Mentor engineers across teams and collaborate with Product, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus six years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, eight years of software engineering or related experience.
  • Extensive experience leading scalable, cloud-native software systems and AI-powered solutions.
  • Strong hands-on coding expertise and experience owning detailed design, production code, automated quality, and deployment.
  • Strong expertise in operational excellence, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and incident management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify bottlenecks, automate manual processes, solve complex problems, and debug systems.
  • Effective collaboration, communication, mentorship, and technical judgment skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master's degree plus four years of software engineering experience and knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
