Base Salary
$177k - $365k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and delivery of lift measurement product features from design and implementation through rollout and ongoing reliability.
- Design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines for study setup, experiment execution, and results computation.
- Build tooling and processes that enable AI adoption across the engineering team, including CI checks, test strategy, and templates.
- Partner with Data Science to translate measurement methodology and study design requirements into production pipelines, services, tooling, and guardrails.
- Develop automated data validation, randomization and holdout integrity checks, imbalance diagnostics, and continuous verification or backtesting.
- Define SLAs, build monitoring and anomaly detection, and lead root-cause analysis for pipeline and study issues.
- Mentor and upskill engineers while improving technical execution and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- BS+ in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on data-intensive systems.
- Strong proficiency with large-scale batch or streaming data pipelines using Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Python, plus SQL.
- Experience designing reliable services and APIs with foundations in distributed systems, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Experience driving AI-enabled engineering workflow transformation from pilot through broad adoption with measurable outcomes.
- Experience in AdTech and measurement products or adjacent experimentation and analytics platforms.
- Working knowledge of experimentation and causal measurement fundamentals, including randomization, holdouts, confounders, significance, and power.
- Practical experience with backtesting, controlled rollouts, and continuous verification for measurement or analytics systems.
- Ability to lead large cross-functional initiatives, drive alignment, and deliver measurable impact through technical leadership.
