Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex software problems.
- Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features.
- Learn and apply new engineering methods and industry best practices.
- Complete software projects collaboratively while managing time effectively.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, with at least one semester or term remaining after the internship.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of programming experience.
- Preferred: at least 6 months of experience delivering projects in teams.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience developing and applying data structures and algorithms.
- Coursework or experience in operating systems, networking, distributed systems, databases, or cloud computing is preferred.
- Experience with C#, C++, Rust, Java, Go, Python, or similar languages is preferred.
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, containers, or infrastructure services is preferred.
- Interest in performance optimization, reliability engineering, observability, debugging, or scalable system design is preferred.
