Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and build AI-powered security applications using LLM-based systems, Bedrock, SageMaker, and related techniques for code scanning and automated remediation.
- Transform manual security workflows into high-volume, machine-speed pipelines while maintaining quality metrics.
- Develop proactive systems that identify and remediate security issues in code, threat models, and content.
- Define and operate production services with SLAs, monitoring, alerting, runbooks, incident response, and 24/7 on-call participation.
- Conduct machine-learning and deep-learning research, train and evaluate production models, and apply experimentation, feature engineering, and hyperparameter optimization.
- Write maintainable production code and integrate scientific components into reliable, resource-efficient systems.
- Produce technical designs, conduct trade-off analysis, and collaborate with engineering and product partners.
- Contribute to peer-reviewed publications, open source projects, technical reviews, and mentoring.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building models for business applications.
- PhD, or a master's degree plus 4 or more years of experience in computer science, computer engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
- Experience with patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
- Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or a related language.
- Experience with algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing.
- Experience contributing to open source projects and driving features or fixes upstream into production-used third-party projects.
- Preferred experience with Unix/Linux, professional software development, open source repository maintenance, release management, community moderation, vulnerability disclosure, dependency auditing, or AI-based vulnerability remediation.
