Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient, flexible software solutions that scale for mission-critical applications.
- Participate in planning, requirements development, software design, implementation, build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Identify, develop, and mature AI/ML and computer vision capabilities, including Automatic Target Recognition.
- Develop analytics and derivative data products that help users extract meaningful knowledge from data.
- Test, troubleshoot, and patch vendor-provided software using applicable software standards and processes.
- Collaborate with R&D teams, engineers, clients, and users to move successful technologies into broader use.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-native software products that transform geospatial data into actionable intelligence.
- Troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and respond effectively to changing mission needs.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance are required, with willingness to obtain a CI polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field; four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least 4 years of professional experience with programming, software design, and/or development.
- Experience working with data in software applications, including extracting or transforming data for a feature or product.
- Familiarity with modern software development tools, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working proficiency in one multiparadigm programming language, preferably Python or C++.
- Working knowledge of Linux-based environments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, collaborate with teammates and users, and adapt to emerging technologies.
- Preferred experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI/ML or computer vision models across diverse data types.
