Base Salary
$200k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale security-by-default capabilities across a complex multi-cloud environment.
- Develop AI/ML-powered security platforms and risk-scoring services to identify and respond to threats and policy violations.
- Build real-time systems for detecting and preventing account compromise, AI abuse, and data exfiltration.
- Create security intelligence and monitoring capabilities for suspicious account and user activity.
- Partner with Security, Engineering, and Product teams to define security strategy and drive secure engineering practices.
- Set standards for system design, code quality, operational excellence, and scalable security architecture.
- Lead projects independently and establish technical direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience with one or more of JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C++, or Go.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or a similar language for building detections and data pipelines.
- Experience designing, testing, and maintaining security-focused software solutions.
- Preferred experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure infrastructure.
- Preferred hands-on experience with static analysis, dynamic analysis, authentication and access management, DDoS mitigation, or security scanning.
- Preferred background in secure software development lifecycle practices.
- A master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is a bonus qualification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional partnerships are preferred.
