Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement core platform functionality across frontend and backend systems
- Build and iterate product features using NextJS, React, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI
- Design and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models
- Contribute to platform architecture, infrastructure, system design, and development-practice decisions
- Monitor and improve performance, observability, debuggability, and reliability across the stack
- Write clean, well-structured, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with founders, product, design, and engineering to ship high-quality features
- Own systems through implementation, launch, and ongoing production operation
Requirements
- At least five years of experience building production systems
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience designing reliable, maintainable software
- Full-stack experience with frontend and backend systems
- Strong experience with React, NextJS, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI
- Experience designing APIs, backend services, and data models
- Experience with monitoring, logging, debugging, observability, and production reliability
- Experience diagnosing performance issues and improving system efficiency
- Strong system design skills and familiarity with architecture, testing, and operational reliability
- Product mindset and ability to collaborate closely with product and design
- Experience with TailwindCSS and modern monorepo tooling is helpful
