Responsibilities
- Define the DataEdge platform strategy and shared cross-product technical roadmap with Product Management.
- Align Product and Engineering teams around portfolio-wide platform objectives and strategic architectural decisions.
- Drive reusable services, APIs, frameworks, common platform capabilities, and technology consolidation.
- Define cloud-native strategies for deployment, configuration, scalability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
- Lead adoption and integration of AI platform capabilities, intelligent automation, MCP, and agentic systems.
- Identify and prioritize AI capabilities that create measurable customer value and competitive differentiation.
- Shape DataEdge’s integration with broader data, analytics, and AI ecosystems, including external technology partners.
- Promote industry standards, open APIs, and interoperability frameworks.
- Coach teams on AI-assisted coding, testing, documentation, modernization, and delivery.
- Represent the technology vision, lead architecture reviews, communicate tradeoffs, and mentor senior technical talent.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience defining architecture and technology strategy across multiple enterprise products or platforms.
- Strong expertise in LLMs, agentic systems, MCP, retrieval architectures, enterprise AI integration, and responsible AI patterns.
- Demonstrated delivery of AI-enabled product capabilities and adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, containers, Kubernetes, distributed systems, and modern software delivery.
- Experience building shared platforms, services, APIs, or reusable frameworks and leading technology consolidation.
- Experience partnering with Product Management on strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, and investment decisions.
- Ability to lead cross-product initiatives, resolve competing priorities, and influence without direct authority.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills with executive leaders, plus experience mentoring senior engineers or architects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
