Base Salary
$230k - $367k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services that serve millions of transactions per second.
- Run and monitor online A/B tests to optimize recommendation system performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to create modular platform components and APIs.
- Enhance the ML platform ecosystem for high developer velocity and system scalability.
- Contribute to onboarding and mentoring new team members on platform engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building software solutions.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and algorithm writing skills.
- Fluency in high-level programming languages such as Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Python.
- Experience with big data systems like Spark, Kafka, Flink, S3, and AirFlow.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks and tools such as Ray, PyTorch, HuggingFace, and AWS Sagemaker.
- Curiosity about Generative AI and its applications.
- MS in Computer Science or a related field.
