Responsibilities
- Take ownership of existing data processing pipelines and improve their performance.
- Design and implement new data processing pipelines.
- Collect and monitor performance metrics for data systems.
- Discuss and implement security best practices in data handling.
Requirements
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as C++, Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud platforms.
- Comfortable with SQL and understanding of SQL engine basics.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing principles.
- Experience with workflow management tools like Airflow, Oozie, or Luigi.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to justify technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
