Responsibilities
- Build large-scale data storage and processing systems capable of processing billions of records per day.
- Contribute to system architecture and engineering excellence in collaboration with other engineers.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, business, and other organizational stakeholders.
- Define and monitor SLAs and follow SRE practices to maintain system stability and availability.
- Build APIs for internal and external data consumers.
- Help improve the effectiveness and ROI of large-scale advertising spend.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of industry experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, and/or Java.
- Experience with data processing frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or ClickHouse.
- Familiarity with streaming systems such as Kafka or Kinesis.
- Experience with SQL and relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL or Citus.
- Experience contributing to large-scale data systems.
- Ruby on Rails experience is a plus.
- Ability to work hybrid from the Helsinki office three days per week.
