Base Salary

$140k - $140k/yr

Responsibilities

Enhance the proprietary trading software platform and deliver software solutions for business needs.
Design, implement, debug, optimize, and maintain complex low-latency trading applications.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with teammates to meet requirements, follow coding standards, and implement automated testing.
Communicate with project managers and team leadership to develop work strategies.
Participate in the Belvedere Trading University learning and development curriculum.

Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle, preferably using an object-oriented language such as C++, C#, or Java.
Ability to optimize and design low-latency software and choose appropriate tools for the job.
Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, intellectual curiosity, and continuous-learning skills.
Ability to use AI tools effectively while maintaining independent judgment and critical thinking.
Graduation in December 2026 or May/June 2027.
Ability to live in or relocate to Chicago; applicants will be considered for the Chicago location only.

Belvedere Trading University provides in-house training on trading fundamentals and proprietary trading systems.
The company provides study materials and dedicated onboarding time to support obtaining required SIE and Series 57 licenses.
The role is Chicago-based, requires regular reliable attendance during standard business hours, may occasionally require being onsite before the start of business, and requires no travel.
