Responsibilities
- Maintain and service core low-latency systems on a day-to-day basis.
- Implement lower-risk feature requests and execute individual projects for team stakeholders.
- Build reliable, efficient, scalable, and flexible multithreaded, asynchronous, and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with Quant and Trading teams to gather requirements, workshop solutions, and implement roadmaps.
- Respond to changing market conditions and solve mathematical and coding problems quickly and accurately.
- Diagnose and fix bugs while contributing to complex systems from the ground up.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics, or an equivalent field.
- Graduating by August 2027.
- Authorized to work in the United States on the first day of employment, including F-1 students using OPT or STEM authorization.
- Experience programming in modern C++, preferably C++23 or later C++20.
- Experience with several areas including distributed systems, parallel processing, asynchronous architectures, networking or protocol encoding/decoding, lock-free data structures and algorithms, performance profiling, or scripting.
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as GDB, Valgrind, and AddressSanitizer.
- Ability to communicate with non-technical Quant and Trading stakeholders, work independently, collaborate across developer backgrounds, and take ownership of system issues.
- Finance or trading experience is not required.
