Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and integrate custom Pega software applications.
- Lead successful delivery of releases with a reporting team.
- Design application architecture, process flows, SLAs, skill-based routing, class structures, data models, indexing, and reporting.
- Design application security using access groups, roles, and privileges.
- Build reusable components using Pega ruleset hierarchies and follow Pega guardrail and code quality practices.
- Perform database and external-system integrations through SOAP, REST services, JMS, and MQ.
- Manage environments, deployment activities, project metrics, and team operations.
- Handle client calls independently and support application development and system integration.
- Contribute to Python development, prompt engineering, and agentic AI system capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required; the posting also states an overall minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience.
- Mandatory CSA and CSSA certifications are required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Hands-on expertise with the Pega Platform and Pega frameworks including CS, CSHC, CWS, and CMF.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, database integration, external-system integration, SOAP, REST services, JMS, and MQ.
- Experience with code reviews, compliance with Pega Guardrails, and AES.
- Experience in application development, system integration, team management, and independent client communication.
- Knowledge of Python development, prompt engineering, and agentic AI systems and tool use involving Anthropic, AWS, or Google.
- CUIS, CCSA, and CPMC certifications are optional; certification in Anthropic, AWS, or Google is preferred.
- React.js and Node.js knowledge is preferred.
