Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, maintain, and support secure IAM applications and services using Java, Spring Boot, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Entra External ID.
- Develop external and B2B identity integrations with Microsoft Graph API and related Microsoft identity services.
- Build Spring Boot RESTful API microservices and web user interfaces.
- Contribute to IAM platform strategy, technical architecture, security-aligned solutions, and product roadmaps.
- Create monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and diagnostic capabilities using Kusto Query Language.
- Support production operations, incidents, service requests, problem management, and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain architecture, API, coding standards, configuration, operational, and onboarding documentation.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for automated software build, testing, security validation, and deployment.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot while maintaining security and quality controls.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle and rotational on-call support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering, IAM, or IT experience.
- Hands-on experience engineering Microsoft Entra ID identity solutions, including external or B2B identities.
- Strong Java and Spring Boot experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience integrating applications with Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience with Angular or another modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework.
- Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases and automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience implementing automated build, testing, security, and deployment processes with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with GitHub, Jira, Postman, PowerShell, and application troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with application-security and DevSecOps tools such as 42Crunch, SonarQube, or Checkmarx.
- Preferred experience includes Microsoft Entra External ID, Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Run, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, KQL, GitHub Copilot, and enterprise IAM implementations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, problem-solving, and technical explanation skills, including experience working with globally distributed teams.
