Responsibilities
- Configure and optimize Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions, including product models, data models, rating, PCF, and GOSU integrations.
- Build reliable integrations using APIs, web services, plugins, batch processes, and messaging frameworks.
- Deliver technical solutions aligned with business and architectural objectives across lines of business and the enterprise.
- Improve development and deployment processes through CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies and deliver committed sprint and program increment objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution engineers, architects, and Agile teams.
- Resolve complex technical issues and support production and end-to-end delivery activities.
Requirements
- More than 9 years of experience in a similar role.
- Mandatory Guidewire PolicyCenter 9.0.5 or 10 development experience and GOSU language experience.
- Advanced Guidewire web service, batch, and plugin experience with 7+ years of experience.
- Mandatory advanced Java experience, with J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Spring JPA, Spring Boot, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle experience; 7+ years preferred or required as stated.
- Experience with PolicyCenter data models, the Guidewire Rating Engine, PolicyCenter Product Model, and PolicyCenter integrations in GOSU and PCF.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, software architecture principles, and design patterns.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
- Full English fluency and flexibility to overlap two hours with the US Pacific Time zone.
- PolicyCenter specialization certification, Cloud PolicyCenter, and data architecture and governance experience are pluses.
