Responsibilities
- Develop, evolve, and maintain APIs and microservices using Python, FastAPI, Flask, and Celery.
- Design scalable, resilient, and highly available solutions for critical business applications.
- Define and evolve distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Implement integrations with relational and non-relational databases while ensuring performance, security, and data integrity.
- Develop asynchronous processes and processing routines using Celery and message queues.
- Create and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
- Analyze performance and optimize code, queries, and computing resources.
- Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to system observability through logs, metrics, and monitoring.
- Support deployment and operation of applications in containerized and cloud environments.
- Identify and resolve production incidents through troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Use AI assistants for prototyping, refactoring, and testing while reviewing their suggestions.
Requirements
- Experience with Python, FastAPI, Flask, and Celery.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and/or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of unit and automated testing.
- Experience designing, building, managing, and scaling microservices solutions.
- Experience with Agile culture and practices such as Scrum, Kanban, pair programming, and TDD.
- Ability to develop and maintain high-performance applications.
- Experience conducting and collaborating on code reviews.
- Willingness to learn business domains and technologies outside current expertise.
- Desirable experience with containers, DevOps, cloud architecture, AWS, EKS, build/test/deployment pipeline automation, and Node.js.
- Experience in the financial market and prompt engineering or AI application for debugging and code optimization are desirable.
